Impaired by fear.

The frosted flower

A heart wavered. Bounds keeping the being intact were tautened, exceeding their limits and so the strings snapped - pearls flew about and broke, shattering into uncountable pieces small as dust. Blood kept on flowing, now quivering to a different tune - the harmonious melody was no more, notes off-cord rang trough chaos. Yet something remained intact - The Core. So the flower did not cease to be, but frosted over. And in.
Moons and Suns have passed, shone light upon this bloom. Solemnly it remains gleaming amidst green awaiting for One, in whose warmth it could melt. For when there is winter, there is spring or there would be none.
